NEW YORK, N.Y. (November 2, 2007) - The Affleck/Garner family has another cause for celebration, as Jennifer made her Broadway debut in "Cyrano de Bergerac" on Thursday night.
On the heels of her husband's glowing reviews for his directorial debut, "Gone Baby Gone," Jennifer is also delighting the critics.

The other important (at least at the moment) Ben in her life, New York Times critic Ben Brantley, called Jenifer's performance, "captivating."
He goes on to say, "Ms. Garner, I am pleased to report, makes Roxane a girl worth pining over," in his New York Times column.

Jennifer, glad to survive the grueling demands of a Broadway play, was looking forward to celebrating her debut.
"I'm ready for a glass of wine!" she said on her way to the opening night party. "I'm just happy that I stayed on my feet and said everything that I was suppose to say," as reported in People.
Regardless of the critical praise, Jennifer does not plan to read her own reviews.
"I'm not going to look at [them]," the actress told People. "No. I can't stand it."
But the most important critic in Jennifer's life, husband Ben, had high praise for her debut.
"This is the whole opening night thing it is a whole different energy, so I am really really excited to be here tonight," Ben told Access Hollywood. " I think she is terrific and I am really just thrilled," he concluded.
